| This is an original (not restored) 1972 LT1 coupe with all numbers and codes matching. 1972 Was this was the last year for the LT-1 solid lifter motor and adding to this cars rarity is the Pewter Silver color (only 1372 made of this color). This car is the last of the chrome bumper cars and removable rear window and it has every option offered EXCEPT air conditioning. The drive train is original as is the interior and paint. The only exceptions to original parts are the tires, battery and exhaust system.1972 was also the only year for LT1 Corvettes where authenticity could be verified by the VIN number( L is the fifth digit). Current owner is the third owner of the car and has owned it for 10 years. It has always been garaged and currently has 76,950 original miles. The paint, chrome and interior are in beautiful original condition. Mechanically, the car needs nothing! It has won an NCRS Top Flight Award. Records can be obtained from NCRS for $500.
